This group allows discussions about local politics only.
Guidelines:
- Discussions must relate directly to Eagle Mountain City.
- National politics (Congress, Senate, presidential elections, etc.) are not allowed.
- State politics may only be discussed if they directly impact Eagle Mountain.
- Political discussions must remain respectful and fact-based.
Who can participate in political discussions?
- Only residents of Eagle Mountain may post political opinions or attempt to influence local voters.
- If you do not live in Eagle Mountain, you may not attempt to manipulate discussions or influence votes. Violators will be removed from the group.
Example of an allowed post:
- “The city council is discussing new zoning laws that may affect our neighborhood. Here’s a link to the meeting details.”
Example of a NOT allowed post:
- “The president’s new policy is terrible, and everyone should vote against it!” (This is national politics and should be discussed in a different group.)
