Rule 6: Report Issues and Rule Violations

Maintaining a positive and well-moderated group requires the help of all members. If you see a post that violates group rules, please report it.

When to Report a Post:

  • The post contains hate speech, harassment, or bullying.
  • It includes spam, inappropriate advertising, or self-promotion without an Advertising ID.
  • The post contains misinformation or threats.

When NOT to Report a Post:

  • You simply disagree with the opinion expressed.
  • The topic is controversial, but it does not violate group rules.

Example of when to report:

  • A comment includes racial slurs or personal threats.
  • A member repeatedly spams links to their business without approval.

Example of when NOT to report:

  • “I don’t agree with this person’s stance on local policy.”
  • “This topic frustrates me, so I want it removed.”
